I am Sarah Capps , I am 1 of 12 children I grew up on a dry farm in Southern Idaho and loved life to the fullest. That is where my love of photography started. I figured you really didn't need a fancy camera to take a good photo. So with that thought in mind I proceeded to take a bunch of pictures. The down side was back then it was all film. I couldn't afford to get them developed, and so there they sat., and sat and sat. Until one day when I was living in Washington State My Mother developed the rolls of film. To my surprise I came home and there were all these awesome photos hanging here and there, and when I ask "cool photo, who took it" the answer was always the same. You did. To this day I only own 1 copy of those photos. a small 5x7 of Black Pine Mtn. taken from the drive way in front of my house with a simple point and shoot 35mm camera.
As I get more of those original cappsography photos I will post them under In The Beginning.
I have lived in many places, Redmond Washington, Cimmaron New Mexico, (Philmont Scout Ranch) Many different Places in Arizona. Logan Utah and now Huntsville Alabama.
I am mom to 3 amazing children, who amaze me every day with their many talents, and abilities. With my wonderful husband we have home schooled all of my children at one point or another. I am heavily involved with Boy Scouts of America, and enjoy life to the fullest.
As far as training goes, I really haven't had much official education in the art of photography. I have learn hands on, reading books, studying photos from artists I love respect and honor. I have had a few classes, but learned the most when I actually had the opportunity to teach photography to a group of home school students here in Alabama
